ORIGINALITY
I am a devotee
and I worship originality
I respect creation
and the creator's psychology
my heart laments when people cheat
they copy ideas well known
and have nothing to claim as their own
they take undue credit
for achievements they haven't made
they commit utter fraud
and consider themselves great
there's beauty in novelty
which only a few can see
there's greatness in being original
which only a few can be
the rest have mastered the art
of borrowing ideas
and using them thanklessly
an original anything
is better than mimicry
"be the first grade version of yourself
than a second grade version of someone else"
